It’s human nature to fear the future, to fear the unknown.
Every fear results in something undesired and this has given way to various things like astrology, numerology, taro card reading and many more.
The prediction doesn’t alter your future; it merely changes your altitude towards it and some or the other way link the result to the prediction.
Mostly all these predictions will only assure about the bad things in your life. If something good waits ahead you need to act for it.
And this is the best part, if something bad come on your way which was not told before just go back to them and you will get to know millions of reasons behind them. Which will be mainly related to stars, sun and the moon so, you will have to believe in everything.
Main point is these predictions are so much vague that anything going around fits so comfortably in it.
But whatever anyone says…………. These things are soooooo tempting :)

Future is not always probed to see the fear, i think, its also to calm down the anxiety about something, your hope and luck....fear may be the driving force under some of the instances not all.... i agree with you on the point that the predictions are vague and can be customised as and when required...;)
